6-Day Kilimanjaro Climb - Rongai Route

Trek Snapshot

The Only Northern Approach — Quiet, Gentle, and Less Crowded

The Rongai Route approaches Kilimanjaro from the remote northern side near the Kenyan border. It is quieter, drier, and offers a more gradual ascent, making it a great choice for trekkers who prefer fewer crowds and a steady, comfortable climb. The scenery is unique, with open landscapes, rugged wilderness, and excellent chances of spotting wildlife early on.

Your Day-to-Day
