You’ll explore Tanzania’s most iconic national parks by vehicle and on foot, starting with a ranger-guided walk in Arusha National Park, followed by thrilling safaris in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. This journey gives you a deeper, more intimate connection with nature while still delivering all the beauty of the Northern Circuit.
Your Day-to-Day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and meet your Domie Expeditions guide. Transfer to your lodge for dinner and rest before your adventure begins.

Day 2: Arusha National Park – Walking Safari & Game Drive
After breakfast, head to Arusha National Park for a guided walking safari with an armed ranger. Walk through lush forests and open fields while spotting giraffes, zebras, colobus monkeys, and many bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic game drive around the Momella Lakes with views of Mount Meru.

Day 3: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire, known for its big elephant herds and baobab-studded landscapes. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the river valleys, where wildlife gathers during the dry months. Relax at your lodge in the evening.

Day 4: Tarangire → Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel toward Serengeti National Park. Pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend onto the vast plains with game viewing on the way. Arrive in central Serengeti for an afternoon drive before settling into camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti – Wildlife Adventure
Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s rich wildlife areas. Your guide will help you find lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, and many more species. Enjoy unhurried game drives and the peace of the open savannah.

Day 6: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy a sunrise game drive before leaving Serengeti. Continue with wildlife viewing on the way to the Ngorongoro region. Check in at your lodge in Karatu or on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Arusha (End of Safari)
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, flamingos, hippos, and possibly the rare black rhino. After lunch at the hippo pool, drive back to Arusha for drop-off.
