Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Karibu Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your Domie Expeditions guide welcomes you with a warm smile. Transfer to your lodge in Arusha and relax after your journey.
Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the city or simply unwind at the lodge.

Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, where wildlife congregates during the dry season.
In the evening, continue to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Tarangire → Central Serengeti – Big Cats & Plains Game
Today you will journey toward Central Serengeti (Seronera), a region famous for year-round wildlife and big cat sightings.
Drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend into the sweeping Serengeti plains with game viewing en route.
Arrive in the late afternoon for sunset views and a relaxed evening at your camp.

Day 4: Central Serengeti → Northern Serengeti (Kogatende)
After breakfast, begin your drive toward the Northern Serengeti, where the Migration is active between June and October.
This region offers some of Africa’s best wildlife moments — dramatic river-crossing attempts, large predators following the herds, and huge numbers of wildebeests and zebras covering the plains.
Arrive at your northern Serengeti camp in the afternoon.

Day 5: Full Day in Northern Serengeti – The Mara River Crossings
Spend the entire day exploring the Mara River region, positioning yourself at potential crossing points where the herds gather.
Your guide will track river activity, predators, and herd movement to give you the best chance of witnessing a real crossing — a heart-pounding moment filled with raw energy, survival, and natural drama.
Expect exciting sightings of crocodiles, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and countless herbivores.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti → Central Serengeti
After a relaxing breakfast and a final morning viewing the herds, begin your journey back to Central Serengeti.

Arrive at your lodge in time for a warm shower and dinner.

Day 7: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater – A Natural Wonder
Depart the Serengeti after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the crater rim by afternoon.
Enjoy breathtaking views before descending into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
Inside the caldera, you’ll encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, flamingos, hippos, and possibly the rare black rhinoceros.
After a full crater tour, drive to your lodge in Karatu for overnight.

Day 8: Karatu → Arusha (Departure)
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before driving back to Arusha.
